Re-roofing FAQ

Common questions about re-roofing, timing, materials, disruption, inspections and next steps.

Re-roofing questions, answered clearly.

Practical answers for planning a roof replacement.

How long does a re-roof take?

Most residential roofing projects are completed within approximately 3-8 working days once we are onsite, depending on the size and complexity of the roof. Larger architectural or complex projects may take longer. Weather can affect the programme where the building cannot be safely exposed.

Do I need to leave the house?

Often you can remain in the home, but this depends on the property, work area and safety requirements. We can talk through disruption before the job starts.

Can only part of the roof be replaced?

Sometimes, but it depends on age, condition, junctions and whether partial replacement will create issues later.

What should I send first?

Photos, the address, approximate roof age, known leaks and what outcome you want are all useful.
